Wake Up Call Revisited

I have been working on revising my original book The Wake Up Call to make it more accessible to many more people and I am waiting for the form to fill out so that I can give it an ISBN number. Once I have that it will then be available from my website Sparkling Energy as a downloadable ebook so that you will be able to receive it immediately.

 

Below is a sample from the first page of the book, if you read it I can pretty well guarantee that you will instinctively know that you are part of the network.

The Wake Up Call

Wake up, and do it as quickly as you possibly can, if you truly want to save this planet before it is too late. Wake up to the realisation that you are part of the biggest and most peace loving network across this planet. You are part of a vast group of people who believe that every life is sacred and that it is not big or clever to solve differences in perspective through violence. These are the folks who are just like you and me, who live with their families next door to their neighbours and simply just get on with their lives as best as they can.

I can imagine that by now you have learned that it is easier to live if you show everyone respect and share no matter how hard that may sometimes seem for some people. Through getting it wrong so many times and suffering the consequences you have discovered that if you really listen to each other’s perspective without prejudice or judgement you can develop real and meaningful relationships with people that you know you can trust.

You have been troubled over the past years and have gradually become more and more aware that if human behaviour doesn’t change rapidly there will be nothing we can do to stop irreversible climate change and that really alarms you.

You hold a deep seated, though possibly unspoken, wish that everyone could learn to live together in peace and have enough good foods to eat and clean, fresh water to drink. You also feel that it is obscene that there are some people in America who are so overweight that they cannot move whilst there are children in this modern world of innovative technology still dying of thirst in Africa.

You have had enough of the senseless and pointless deaths of young and old men, women and children across the world, and the fact that our representative governments use our tax payer’s money to fund these atrocities, even though nearly 2 million of us marched to tell them that they were doing this "Not in my name".

You hold a deep desire for this world to become a safe and peaceful paradise so that your children, your grand children and the children of all the other loving parents can grow up and reach their full potential.

I wonder if you recognise yourself as a member of this group. I have a really strong feeling that you probably do!

The most powerful thing that you need to know is that the power to achieve this is ours already and now is the time for us all to wake up and really make it happen!
